Cruise-goers braved the 90-degree heat on Saturday for the Mount Clemens Cruise sponsored by Pat Moran Chevrolet.
Hundreds of hot rods, classic cars, vintage vehicles and motorcycles took place on city streets in the downtown area during the 31st annual car show and cruise hosted and organized by the volunteer group Friends of Mount Clemens.
New to the cruise this year was the addition of food trucks. Five of them were lined up on Market Street for patrons to grab a bite to eat in between checking out the cars and displays.
The cruise is the longest-running car show in metro Detroit — older than even the Woodward Dream Cruise.
