Application
2-ethylhexyl alcohol is commonly called octanol in the neighborhood of plasticizer, which is an important chemical raw material. Octanol is not only used in the production of plasticizers, but also in the production of octyl acrylic acid or surfactants.It can be mainly used in the production of dioctyl phthalate (dop), dioctyl glycol (doa), trioctyl metaphthalate (totm),. Other Plasticizers, octyl Acrylate, Surfactants, Lubricating Oil Additives, Mining, diesel fuel Additives, solvents and dispensing, antirust Esters, other Chemicals. Octanol itself is a useful solvent, antifoam agent, dispersing agent, lubricant, its series of products are mainly dioctyl phthalate and octyl acrylic acid. Dioctyl phthalate produced from octanol is the main plasticizer of pvc, and the consumption of pvc accounts for about 95% of its total consumption.
